Current Research
I am currently directing SION-Digit, a project that aims at revealing everyday-life, objects and transborder transactions of Jews, 1500-1700, within the geographical triangle Venice-Bordeaux-Amsterdam, and creating the resource for reconstructing the spatial and temporal networks between these cities. My own research mainly concerns spatial, material and intellectual aspects of Jewish lives in early modern Venice, including its overseas territories, with a special interest for book ownership.
